PERFORMANCE CURVES
To choose the air motor suitable for the application, it is necessary to know the supply pressure [Air supply pressure in psi] available, and the number of revolutions [speed in rpm] required.
The first graph is used to identify the torque [torque Nm] and power [power kW] that the engine can provide.
To determine the torque you need to go vertically from the number of revolutions and cross the red curve corresponding to the chosen supply pressure. At the intersection point read the value on the left of the graph. The same procedure applies to determine the power but by crossing the gray curves and reading the value on the right of the graph.
In the second graph it is possible to read the air consumption [air consumption mt3/hr]: as for the previous quantities, go vertically from the number of revolutions and cross the gray curve corresponding to the available supply pressure. From the intersection point it is possible to read the consumption value on the left of the graph.
